About Event:

This year is the 110th anniversary of this ill fated campaign of the First World War. As part of the commemorations Ian will give an outline of the campaign and detail the involvement of the 9th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment and the 1/1st Warwickshire Yeomanry both who suffered very high casualties. He will also refer to those mentioned on the Warwick war memorial, who were killed in Gallipoli.

Ian is a volunteer at the Fusilier Museum and until recently was a Trustee and Education Co-ordinator of the Gallipoli Association. He has given numerous talks on the campaign.
