The Warwickshire Regiment - The 350th Anniversary Commemoration
To mark the 350th anniversary of the founding of Warwickshire's oldest county regiment, we are presenting a series of exhibitions and events for October 2024.
‘Dressed to Serve’ – A 350th Commemoration of the Warwickshire Infantry
1st October – 20th November, Fusilier Museum Warwick. A display of uniforms & equipment from 350 years of the Warwickshire Regiment.
‘If you knows of a better regiment, go to it!’ –
A talk on Bruce Bairnsfather by Mark Warby. Saturday 5th October, 2pm, Fusilier Museum Warwick

‘History Party at the Museum’
A Silver Sunday Event with Age UK. Sunday, 6th October, 11am – 3pm at the museum.
A free drop-in event to celebrate older people and veterans with reminiscence sessions, family history research and lots of tea and cake!
‘Royal Warwickshire 350’
Memorial service and exhibition at St. Michael’s Church, Church Lane, Budbrooke, CV35 8QL,
Sunday, 13th October: Unveiling of dedicatory bench 1:45pm; Church Service 2pm – 2:45pm;
teas until 3:30; 350 Exhibition in Church Hall.
‘The Ballard of Arthur Vickers VC’
A play about the life of a Victoria Cross Winner from WW1. Friday, 18th October 12:30 pm , Bridgehouse Theatre, Warwick. Performed by students from Westgate Primary School with members of the Midlands Actors Theatre.

‘350 Years of Living History’
Re-enactors dressing as soldiers from different periods will be in the museum all day. Saturday 26th October, Fusilier Museum Warwick.
