By a Thread

Woolwork panel on canvas with RWR antelope badge in the centre above "1/7th Battalion" and 50 Division badge, with a border in the regimental colours of blue and gold. It was made by Lt Peter Raymond Philips during his recuperation after being wounded at St Contest on 8th July 1944. Missing rectangle of embroidery bottom right may have held a badge.
