Taff Gillingham, historian and historical adviser for the media agency 'Khaki Devils' who were instrumental in producing, amongst others, the now famous Sainsbury's Christmas Truce ad, explores myth and reality in 'How Football Fouled The Christmas Truce of 1914'.
This entertaining and informative journey of discovery will include references to soldiers of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment who experienced this remarkable temporary amnesty in No Man's Land in the Christmas of 1914.
