This special talk event is to commemorate the D Day anniversary - the official regimental day of the former Royal Warwickshire Regiment and still recognised as a special commemoration by the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers today.
Two speakers will explore fascinating aspects of the D Day landings through the eyes of those who were there - Tony Bray will describe the actions of the airborne glider pilot divisions who prepared the ground for the land forces and Chris Cox will describe through the stories of individual soldiers, the advance of the 2nd Battalion of the regiment from Sword Beach to Caen and beyond.
Light refreshments will be served.
There is wheelchair access and an accessible toilet on site.
