A special day event at Warwick Courthouse to commemorate VE80, a key anniversary of the liberation of Europe in WW2. A series of expert speakers led by Henry, Third Viscount Montgomery of Alamein, grandson of one of the most significant British commanders in WW2, will explore how victory was finally achieved and the role played by the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in the later stages of this the defining conflict of the Twentieth Century.

Peter Hart - 'The Role of Tanks & Artillery in Securing Victory in Europe'
Buffet lunch in Warwick Courthouse and chance to see the Victory 80 Exhibition in the neighbouring Fusilier Museum Warwick.
Tony Rich - 'From Wormhoudt to Normandy - the Key Achievements of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment Before the Advance into Germany'
Jon Davy - 'End Game: The 2nd Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment's Advance into Germany'
Tickets include refreshments and a buffet lunch in the Warwick Courthouse and a chance to see the Victory 80 exhibition in the museum next door.
